I have no idea it doesnt work :( i looked at the doc's known issues( https://github.com/xolox/vim-session/blob/master/doc/session.txt#L465 ) but couldn't find anything out.

It looks like the plug now requires an external dependency, vim-misc. The author added some notes about this to the README.md.

I think would be keen if vim-session checked for this dependency on load and gave a helpful message if it was not available.

@tkhr: The problem and solution were already explained to you by @gauched so I'll close this issue now.

@gauched: There's now a message explaining the dependency.
