They should, because in production we there should always be a user associated with every version ('whodunnit' / 'whodunnit_user_email').

Where available, linking to the user profile. If the user does not have
a user profile (which may be deliberate), generates a pseudonymous name
(e.g. "XRONOS user #1"). If there isn't a user associated with the
version, displays "Unknown user" – but this shouldn't happen, see #315
