New release of xSDK examples, v0.4.0

Dear xSDK community, @xsdk-project/everyone,

As part of an upcoming milestone, the ECP-xSDK team is planning to release v0.4.0 of the xSDK examples.

There are a number of planned additions for this release, see https://github.com/xsdk-project/xsdk-examples/milestone/1.

I wanted to inform everyone about the upcoming release and ask if anyone else wants to contribute a new or extend an existing example for the new release. The goal of the examples is to illustrate interoperability between xSDK packages, as well as to enable more robust testing of all xSDK packages through the xSDK CI which, in particular, includes the xSDK examples.

Note that the due date for the milestone is May 15, 2023, however, if you would like to contribute and cannot make the due date -- that is okay, any additions after that will become part of the next release.
