Share on facebook feature returns an error

Steps to reproduce:

1. Click on a forum
2. Click on a topic
3. Click on Facebook button
4. Login (if needed) and share the link
5. Check the Facebook profile to which the link was shared

Expected results: The post is displayed on the respective Facebook profile.

Actual results: After you click on the blue icon, you get a facebook window where you login.
If you click on Share button, you get: "Sorry, this feature isn't available right now: An error occurred while processing this request. Please try again later"

Environment: Windows 10, XWiki 10.11.2 Standard Version, Edge 18

This issue is reproducing only if you are using a local XWiki instance and your hostname is not represented by an IP address. Also, I don't know if it's useful to share a local link to social platforms since you can't access that link outside the local machine.

This part is not clear. @ignatescustefan does it work if you add an alias for the localhost in the host configuration file? And you use that alias to access your wiki instead. If it does then:

• we should improve the documentation (mention that the share feature doesn't work on localhost)
• ideally we should disable the share feature when on localhost and we should display a warning message on the Forum administration section when the share feature is activated on localhost

If we deactivate the share feature on localhost we need to make sure we use the same API to get the URL (host) as the one used when sharing, as @tmortagne pointed out. So @ignatescustefan you need to check how the URL is computed when you click on share and then use the same API to get the host when disabling the feature or when showing the warning message in the administration.
