What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Record a clip, to any of the wav settings

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Audio does not match the video. The video file (yes correct fps) is 1 minute
and 25 seconds, and the .wav file is only 20 seconds long.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
2012-04-07
Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit

Added screenshot. As you can see the sound stops way before the video does.

Can you provide debug mode logs? It may also help to upload the generated .wav
file. You mentioned by email that it works in .flac, so you can also upload the
.flac for comparison.

From the screenshot, it looks like the .wav actually is as long as the video,
but the bulk of it is just silence. Is this correct or is the interface just
pretending that it is?

It is just pretending. I compiled the images + wav into an avi as I do usual,
and imported that in premiere... That's why it shows up like this. The original
file is actually much shorter.

How do I get a log file? Sorry I have already deleted the original wav's, but I
could record another later.

Do you not have this problem? Is it just me?
