Use Bootstrap in your Django templates, the Django way.

Installation

  1. Install using pip:

    pip install django-bootstrap3

    Alternatively, you can install download or clone this repo and call pip install -e ..

  2. Add to INSTALLED_APPS in your settings.py:

    'bootstrap3',

  3. In your templates, load the bootstrap3 library and use the bootstrap_* tags:

Example template

{% load bootstrap3 %}

{# Display a form #}

<form action="/url/to/submit/" method="post" class="form">
    {% csrf_token %}
    {% bootstrap_form form %}
    {% buttons %}
        <button type="submit" class="btn btn-primary">
            {% bootstrap_icon "star" %} Submit
        </button>
    {% endbuttons %}
</form>

Requirements

  • Python 2.6, 2.7 and 3.3
  • Django >= 1.4
