TLDR

Turn this:

let regex = try? NSRegularExpression(pattern: "^gummy bears have no cares")
let str = "gummy bears have no cares"
let firstMatch = regexs?.firstMatch(in: str, options: [], range: range)
let matchRange = Range(firstMatch.range, in: str)

let matchStr = String(str[matchRange])

into this:
