Personally, I have this app running all the time, because I want to know if there is a problem with my internet connection when I use my computer.

It uses electron under the hood, so it's not so small as could be. If you'd like to reduce the size or completle rewire it on anoter platform you're welcome. Also because is's an electron, there is a possibility to build this app for Linux and Windows. I have no access to those systems, so your pull requests are very welcome.
