There are two og:image meta ttag on my home page. One is from the Social -> Facebbok settings and one is from the actual page. If I set a featured image for my home page, the duplicate still will be there.

Here is the site's facebook debug:
https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/og/object?q=http%3A%2F%2Fpremiumwp.hu%2F

I don't want to use the second (http://premiumwp.hu/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/premium-sablonok.png) image as og:image. How can I remove it? How can I set it properly?

  1. Having several og:image tags is quite alright, nothing in the Open Graph guideline suggesting there's anything wrong with that, so this is not a bug.

  2. If you don't want to use the second image, read why it is used in the first place and what is suggested to fix it, i.e. make Facebook use the first image.

Closing this issue as it's not a WP SEO problem.

Thank you for your answer! Yes, I know there is no problem with 2 og:image tags on a page for Facebook.

My problem is, that these 2 images are included by the WordPress SEO plugin. I don't think this is a good solution. There can be 2 og:image tags, but there should be only one.

Can you tell me what is the reason to include 2 og:image tags on the home page?

The image is exactly 200 x 200 px, so it should be used. I don't know why is this warning, but I think this is not the plugin's issue.

Sorry, I haven't got an answer for you as I didn't develop it ;-) Maybe @Yoast can explain ?

True, not a plugin issue, but solving that would make sure that image which you want Facebook to use, would be used. Try making the image 201px x 201px.

I've changed the image to 201 x 201 px. Still got the warning and the second image is still there.

I want to use this image as my only og:image tag. I have set it in the SEO settings, so if it is not the only image for my home page, than something is wrong with WordPress SEO plugin.

I don't care for now with facebook's warning. First, I'd like to have only one image, but now WordPress SEO sets 2 images without my permission. I think this should be fixed. Or at least explained.
