Installation

Prerequisites

• PHP >= 8.1
• Composer
• Node.js & npm
• MySQL or any other supported database

Steps

1. Clone the repository:

   git clone https://github.com/yogesh-gohil/laravel-e-commerce.git
   cd laravel-e-commerce
   

2. Install backend dependencies:

   composer install

3. Install frontend dependencies:

   npm install

4. Set up environment variables:

   cp .env.example .env
   php artisan key:generate

5. Configure your database in the .env file:

   DB_CONNECTION=mysql
   DB_HOST=127.0.0.1
   DB_PORT=3306
   DB_DATABASE=your_database_name
   DB_USERNAME=your_database_user
   DB_PASSWORD=your_database_password

6. Run migrations and seed the database:

   php artisan migrate --seed

7. Build the frontend assets:

   npm run dev

8. Serve the application:

   php artisan serve
