Please make sure the question is worded well enough to be understood
Recently released songs on YouTube Music now offer the use of 256kbps in Opus format (format 774) which is currently the offered option for downloading with bestaudio. However the Opus streams a) Have a 20khz lowpass filter, and b) are always resampled to 48khz. 256kbps AAC streams (format 141) don't have these issues, although a spectrogram analysis indicates larger "holes" in the audio at high frequencies. My question is, should the preferred format for bestaudio continue to be the Opus stream, or the AAC stream which technically matches the original files more closely?
Provide verbose output that clearly demonstrates the problem
Run your yt-dlp command with -vU flag added (yt-dlp -vU <your command line>)
If using API, add 'verbose': True to YoutubeDL params instead
Copy the WHOLE output (starting with [debug] Command-line config) and insert it below
Complete Verbose Output
