[ytdl-patched] YouTube download failed during transmission on ERROR: unable to download video data: HTTP Error 403: Forbidden #84
Comments
I confirm "HTTP Error 403: Forbidden" problem for few months now. Looks like they solved it in yt-dlp 2023.09.24 but somehow in ytdl-patched it doesn't work. |
I have probably the same issue. Latest version, freshly downloaded.
yt-dlp seems to work, though very slowly |
This fork doesn't work for me at all, I don't understand why.
|
Same HTTP 403 error problem here. On Win7 SP1. I don't think it will be fixed. This fork seems automated & dead :(

I am using the following simplest command below to download a video file from YouTube. The download progress is performing but it is unexpectedly broken on
ERROR: unable to download video data: HTTP Error 403: Forbidden
. As the result, I've got the corrupted file *.f313.webm.part so that the download resuming does not starts until the file is deleted. The issue is permanently reproducible on ytdl-patched at Windows and Linux at the same environment.
The issue is NOT reproducible on original yt-dlp at the same environment. The whole file is downloaded as expected.
