Hello. Great app.

Though after installing I noticed while browsing after awhile it'll say this:
https://i.godhub.xyz/07-09-2019-vYbDk5Icln.png

so I checked the websocket info in console ans saw this:
https://i.godhub.xyz/07-09-2019-dUw04kGA0F.png

according to Mattermost documentation this has something to do with the proxy configuration?

Hmm, this is probably either:

  • a proxy configuration error
  • or the Mattermost server crashed, and is no longer responding

When you reload the page (with Ctrl+R), does it still work?

Refreshing the page makes the red banner go away for a minute or so. Though browser console is cluttered with the websocket errors

Maybe it has something to do with my proxy set up for sure.
I am probably a stranger case than most for how my proxy is set up.

I run VMWare, and have a VM set up as my proxy server. I have only ports 80 and 433 open on my router, which are directed through this proxy server. The proxy server then redirects the traffic depending on the host name entered to the correct machine. My proxy server ALSO does the SSL.

Anyways, this is my two proxy configs:

  1. (My Proxy Server, Not YunoHost): https://paste.godhub.xyz/munuhelita.nginx
  2. (Yunohost, I didnt make this): https://paste.godhub.xyz/odoyubilid.makefile

Hopefully this will clear up some things and help us get to the solution :)

Indeed, proxifying web socket connections takes some extra configuration.

I'm not that knowledgeable in these settings, but you can have a look at:
