A couple (lamely implemented) tweaks to make output more closely
match xgettext's comments for multiple source files.
The idea of this patch is that we can generate files with xgettext under the tests directory and then use them as a golden reference to test our code.
I saw you had
testin package.json, so I tried to use that framework.
