I'm submitting this new issue as I cannot reopen #1252.
I've been testing the fix #1253 with patroni 1.6.3 but I still have no fail-over to the node marked as sync-standby when node name contains uppercases, see in log:
patroni: 2020-01-10 13:29:31,641 INFO: Assigning synchronous standby status to HACluster5Node3
patroni: server signaled
patroni: 2020-01-10 13:29:33,667 INFO: Synchronous standby status assigned to hacluster5node3
As soon as I manually change the sync_standby value in KV store to the node name with uppercases (in above example HACluster5Node3) then this node is immediately become master.
Could you have a look at it?
Thanks!
