Describe the bug
There is an issue with the existing docker images in the sra-download workflow .

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. execute sra-download workflow with singularity profile

Expected behavior
The process fails

Additional context
Updating the docker images of some of the tools, especially the fasterq-dump which no longer relies on an interactive window step in the older versions might solve the issue

Hi Maria, thanks for opening the issue.

I thought there would already be an issue for that one, because this issue is known to us. The reason is this one: snakemake/snakemake#1521

In ZARP-cli, we currently force execution of the SRA download workflow in Conda, even if users prefer to use Singularity.
