Compounding Calculation

This is lightweight script to calculate yearly compounding interest and the result will be showed in table.

Description

The example use case scenario of the compound interest will be -- staring with $100,000 in the the brokerage account and if this account grows by 20% every year, how much will it be in next 20 years. So, user can enter 4 inputs, starting amount, starting year, number of years and the interest rate.

Getting Started

Dependencies

• python 3
• prettytable is needed before running program.

Installing

• Download stock.py and stock_list.txt from https://github.com/zayarsoe1/compounding_calculation
• pip3 install PrettyTable

Executing program

• Run python3 compound_calculation.py
