Rationale:

  • If it's possible to decouple this concern, we can simplify this ZIP (and address malleability separately).
  • Fewer separate ZIPs with separable concerns may simplify specification, the work of implementors, security analysis, etc…

Done Criteria:

  • TZE ZIP no longer contains changes that attempt to address malleability.
  • TZE ZIP relies on external ZIP that addresses malleability.
