How to use I2C sensor emulation with a custom sensor driver in POSIX build?

I try to add a driver emulation for a APDS9306 I2C light sensor to our Smartwatch project and I need help to understand a undefined reference to __device_dts_ord_31'` error during the build.

I´ve added a device to native_posix_overlay

    apds9306: apds9306@52 {
        compatible = "avago,apds9306,emu";
        reg = <0x52>;

    };
};

created a avago_apds9306_emul driver in the drivers/sensor directory, enable the emulation in the project config but I still get this error. Also Kconfig doesn´t enable the APDS9306 driver because there is no such device in the device tree.

Where is the issue in my setup?
