What is the server used for?

I tried the demo, start the server then make the publisher connect it, but it doesn't work.

If I make the publisher connect my FMS, it works.

Does the gortmp mush be used with FMS or any other rtmp-server?

If so, what is the server used for?

What kind of file you published.

A local file in the server, and same directory.

The key point is that the client even can not connect the server, it's before the stream-create and start phase.
