Cool project, ideas for additional uses

I was just feeling lazy enough to look for a project similar to this and though it seems very basic, would you add functionality to directly ignore a file?

E.g.

gitignore ignoreme.txt should add 'ignoreme.txt` to the existing gitignore file in your current repo (or directory).
