Does not work for me on OSX Mojave

It says that the commands does not exist when I try to run them. I run OSX Mojave, and I already tried installing the extension as root. So sad, because I really wanted nyan cat :(.

@volotovskyy I never did. Perhaps I was unclear, I did what @buncismamen suggested, but the nyan cat did no work anyway. I.e. I recalled I tried that before writing the issue.
