When accessing the page using https it doesn't load any info (friends list, chats, etc.)

Doesn't it support https yet?

What's the point in using https? All data transferred over http is already encrypted, http is only a wrap

It's not encrypted over http.

I, personally, think that it's a bad idea to teach users that "non-https is safe". Yes, i've looked at the traffic and i know that you are right from a technological point of view. But you are wrong from an educational point of view.

You really don't want to tell people "it's alright on our website... you can do this" because normal people don't have the tools to tell the difference. Don't teach them bad habits.
