Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
A clear and concise description of what the problem is. Ex. I'm always frustrated when [...]
Output from the new query builder is difficult to use. When downloaded an activity-based CSV output and opening in Excel, the transactions are comma separated in each cell as are all of the corresponding attributes (transaction type, currency, dates etc.). This then requires a lot of manipulation to get a useful presentation of financial data.
Dates are also presented with a timestamp rather than just the day/month/year date which makes them harder to read/use.
Describe the solution you'd like
A clear and concise description of what you want to happen.
The old query builder (Alpha version) provided excellent and useful summary financial data, particularly total commitment, total spend and total income. Dates were also provided in simple day/month/year format.
Describe alternatives you've considered
A clear and concise description of any alternative solutions or features you've considered.
Using the old query builder

I just updated the date field to the standard format 'yyyy/mm/dd' and will be in the production soon.
Please explain what data do you need for the "simplified financial data output" related to the IATI standard and what element should be in the output, so I can give you an example how to query it with the current Query Builder.
@siemvaessen to clarify the request to add simplified transaction data to the Activities csv...
It would be great if the Query Builder could have an option whereby aggregated transaction types can be added when returning one activity per row, as is output in QB v1.
