Hardware wallet support #130
Comments
Well, yes and no. For one, I am reluctant to innovate towards non-privacy directions, more feature more trouble. |
Thanks for the reply. Using core (or btcd or any other full node implementation) as a backend sounds good to me. I do already run full nodes for the coins I care about. But, what do you mean "towards non-privacy directions?" I don't see how hardware wallets relate to privacy. |
Yes, that's why I am reluctant to work on it:) |
Oh I see what you mean now. I guess privacy and security go hand in hand for me. If I'm being private, but my keys are vulnerable to hack, I don't actually feel safe. I need both. |
Hardware wallet support is not planned in the forseeable future, so I'm closing this issue. |
I'm really excited about this wallet and the privacy it can bring. The problem is that I don't want my coins on my computer; I'm way too scared of getting a virus. Are there any plans to eventually add hardware support? That would be great for me.
