newly tamed animals, recruited prisoners, randomer joining etc.. do not have their medical settings set to the mod default.

A simple workaround is to use the set all to default option but this still requires a manual step and isn't convenient

Can you install v1.0.2 and see if the bug persists? I fixed this exact issue then (about a week and a half ago) and it's possible you're still using v1.0.1.

Aye could be I'm running the old version. I meant to report this a while back, only got around to doing it yesterday. I'll test that tonight and report.
