This is an internet connected Waste Watcher IoT Project. It is a proof-of-concept project and to be used with ZBCE API v0.

Waste Watcher Local

Waste Watcher v0 🗑️👀 uses the ESP32CAM and a HC-SR04 to capture waste images and record bin fullness metrics. It then saves the data onto a microSD card.

• setup SD card before GPIO pin setup to prevent sd card mounting issues

• Measures bin fullness and collects waste images
• Saves data and images locally onto microSD card
• Syncs with NTP Client to generate UTC datetime stamps
