Allow adding Locate engines to client #92
Comments
(I also suspect almost nobody uses these, so it's not a priority.) |
Not currently possible in 5.0 zotero/zotero-connectors#92
https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/67480/add-locate-article-lookup-engine-in-zotero-5-connector Currently no way at all to add locate engines. Neither through the connector, nor the engine manager. We can add this, but I need a walkthrough: docs, relevant code in Z4fx, etc. |
The option to edit existing Locate Engines in the client would also be nice zotero/zotero#336 I supply a modified engines.json file when I teach classes on using Zotero for systematic reviews--it would be really nice to be able to send students to a website to add them instead. |
I am using it a lot while working away from the university LAN. Until this is fixed, this is a useful resource for manually configuring lookup engines: https://egh.github.io/zotero-lookup-engines/ |
Not sure how difficult this is.
