I can't reproduce this. Sounds like it's only a display issue, since it fixes itself after a force-quit.

The weird highlights in the last message seem to be the same issue as #486, it's a known PSPDFKit issue and has not yet been resolved. Some documents just can't have parts of text selected and the highlighted text is therefore also completely wrong.
