Currently, if the user enters a new filter which is not in the cached filters, the user entered value does not carry on to the next search bar.
New filter applied by a user (does not exist in the cached filter values):

The subsequent search bar does not keep the value previously entered by the user:

user input is kept in the subsequent search filter; fixes #255
