When browsing Zulip using the keyboard, users need to reach for their mouse to open links. If there were a shortcut to select between links in a message and before pressing enter to open the link, then this would let users continue to use Zulip using their keyboard.

Yeah, that'd be good to support, thanks for the suggestion!
I suppose the standard UI for this would be for tab to iterate through the links in the currently selected message, though I think managing tabindex for that might be too annoying to make that a good experience. So I think I agree that an explicit keyboard shortcut for this would be a good idea (possibly iterating through links in the current message to highlight).
Thanks for your interest in Zulip! You have attempted to claim an issue without the labels "help wanted", "good first issue". Since you're a new contributor, you can only claim and submit pull requests for issues with the help wanted or good first issue labels.
If this is your first time here, we recommend reading our guide for new contributors before getting started.
Yeah, you're welcome to work on this. It may take a while to be ready to integrate just because I'm not sure what key we should use (etc.) and those decisions may take time, but it's worth prototyping.
