User info popover does not hide when clicking on menu

Steps to reproduce:

1. Go to https://chat.zulip.org/
2. Hover over a user at the right pane of the screen
3. Click on the down-chevron to open user-information about the user
4. Without closing this popover, click on the menu gear icon at the top right corner, to open
   the dropdown menu.

Expected Behaviour: The user popover should close and only the dropdown menu should be visible
Observed Behaviour: The user popover does not close.

This causes problems in mobile view(tested for Iphone X using Developer Tools) because the popover causes the dropdown to be behind it. Attaching an image:
