Vertical Navbar Active tab not working

Thank you for this great bootstrap template.

I am using it with my Django project but when I select a tab, it doesn’t set the active tab to it but rather set it to the default Dashboard with the active class. The sub menu item also doesn’t change.

Any help will be appreciated.

I found a solution to the active tab problem.
