Perhaps a "favorite controllers" approach could be more convenient.

We have mechanisms to order and page controllers. It would be advantageous to add a UI mechanism for mapping which may be an additional mapping / tagging layer. This could include hiding controllers which may assist users who want simpler interface. It may be advantageous to implement templates to allow common configurations, e.g. simple, complex UI.
