GSoC 2015 Application Jayanth Chandra : Implement image rasterization methods for models

Hello AstroPy Developers,

I am Jayanth Chandra pursuing B.Tech CS from R.V College Of Engineering . I have been working on web technologies such as HTML5,CSS3,JavaScript, Jquery, PHP, Node JS ,Angular JS from past one year. I have good knowledge in C++,C,Java and Python.

I am interested in working for AstroPy.This project seems really intriguing to me.I have Basic Knowledge about Flexible Image Transport System (FITS) and Rasterization.I want to specially work for Image Rasterizaton Implementation.

Sorry for delayed intro and Proposal as i was trying to understand the codebase.

Any Potential Mentors???
