Set mva tight value of initial step to be equal to highPurity mva (76X version of #12223) #12230
Conversation
A new Pull Request was created by @istaslis (Stas Lisniak) for CMSSW_7_6_X. Set mva tight value of initial step to be equal to highPurity mva (76X version of #12223) It involves the following packages: RecoHI/HiTracking @cmsbuild, @cvuosalo, @slava77 can you please review it and eventually sign? Thanks. |
@cmsbuild please test |
The tests are being triggered in jenkins. |
+1 The following merge commits were also included on top of IB + this PR after doing git cms-merge-topic: |
+1 Adjusting the tight MVA value of the Heavy Ions initial step. There should be no change in monitored quantities. #12223 and #12231 are the 75X and 80X versions of this PR, and the latter has been approved by Reco. Jenkins tests against baseline CMSSW_7_6_X_2015-11-02-1100 show no significant differences, as expected. |
This pull request is fully signed and it will be integrated in one of the next CMSSW_7_6_X IBs (tests are also fine). This pull request requires discussion in the ORP meeting before it's merged. @davidlange6, @Degano, @smuzaffar |

Set mva tight value of initial step to be equal to highPurity mva (76X version of #12223)
76X version of PR #12223.
This PR changes mva value of 'tight' selection of HI initial step reconstruction. This is a minor fix to prevent confusion and it does not change the event content (because subsequent steps are dependent on 'highPurity', not 'tight' selection)
