Model your business process explicitly, and execute it
Traditionally enterprise systems like ERP or CRM are based on business processes which are hard-coded in programming language implementing the required functionalities. This works very well, as long the implemented process is inline with the requirements of the user, but if there is a mismatch the users and developers face several challenges.
