Motivation for a change is here:
The changes are somewhat hard to benchmark since they touch the heart of the compiler and at the same time are not too significant. However even existing benchmarks for some service scenarios show some noticeable 5-10% improvements.

I tried doing some profiling as well on one of those benches, looks like there are some improvements on dictionary allocations.
