About the hack
Appcelerator recently open-sourced an augmented reality app built on their platform that displays Facebook places. This is like that, but for foursquare. Except there is no checking in yet. It is basically a fork of the Appcelerator app (though not actually yet, but eventually after it's organized a bit better).
What tools did you use?
Appcelerator Titanium Mobile. Also the foursquare API.
