Hello there, and welcome to my little github space. I am Javier, from Chile. Currently based near the ocean at Viña del Mar.
I'm a Ph.D. student at Universidad de Valparaíso, working in Computational Neuroscience in the lab of Dr. Patricio Orio. Additionally, I am an adjunct instructor of the Engineering Department at Universidad Andrés Bello.
During my M.Sc. I explored the relationship between structure and function in a network model of the brain. Currently, I am working in a computational model of selective attention, inspired in the insect brain.
