Smaller granularity for bar line spans, down to a single staff space, both as whole staff change and as single, specialized, bar line change; fully undoable.

sorry, but it seems i broke the pull request with some fixes i did for hiding staves.
I will try to merge and push the result on the main branch.

No problem! Occasionally, it happens with concurrent development. You have probably more important things to look after, I'll have a look at it.

Rebased locally. Testing and fixing a small bug reported in the meantime, then I'll push to branch.

Rebased and re-committed; should compile (and work!) now.

Tests were failing because the <BarLine> tag in .msc? files included more attributes; attributes have been removed when equal to default values.
