Yesterday we had a bot creating a bunch of API keys and making API requests. We seem to have been able to mitigate that specific bot with some temporary workarounds (knock on wood), but moving forward, I realized it would be useful to gather a few bits of additional information when the user signs up. This would at least make it easier to debug, analyze, or cleanup these types of situations where there's suspicious signup activity.
