LaTeX Publications and Templates

This is a small collection of LaTeX templates I began creating and customizing from tutorials and content I found on the web.

I plan to learn documentation using LaTeX and migrate from word processing software (currently I use LibreOffice) to LaTeX for larger works.

Update 8/2/2023: I added a new Publications folder and renamed the repo. This folder will now hold any papers I decide to add.

Environment:

For Local Installations:

1. VS Code
   • Visual Studio Code
   • LaTeX Workshop Extension
   • MiKTeX For Automatic Package Management.
2. TeXMaker
   • TeXMaker: If you rather prefer a dedicated application for managing documents, check out this free cross-platform editor.
   • Note that Using TeXMaker still requires MiKTeX.

Online IDE:

   • Overleaf Online LaTeX Editor, which also has collaborative capabilities.

Free Templates:

• IEEE Citation Generator.
  • Great for short papers that have few sources.
  • Works good if you don't want to set up a separate .bib file, and always up to date.
• Overleaf Document Templates.
  • 1 Click Import to Overleaf.com acct, or download & Import to VS Code.
  • Has a real nice MSc or PhD Template.
• LaTeX Templates.
  • Can be imported directly to Overleaf or Download Source Code.
  • Includes another nice Masters/Doctoral Thesis Template.
