A new UI version being developed in a separate Spline UI repo is going to replace the original Spline UI starting from Spline 0.6 major release. It is compatible with Spline 0.5 server and can be used as an alternative to the original Spline UI v0.5.
As of version 0.6 the original UI modules will be removed from the core project and the new UI repo will become the official Spline UI.
