Issue Details

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Just work normally with it, and after a few days or a week, it will ask you to purchase a license, although I have entered my lifetime one. I didn't count the days, but I suspect that it's doing this on a 7-day period, like a free trial basis. Not sure. I will check this time.

Expected Behavior

It will ask you to either purchase a license or enter it if you have one. It doesn't matter if you have logged in via email:pass or if you just entered the code itself.

Actual Behavior

Logging you out of your own license.

@aliafshany Hi! Thank you for reporting!
Has the problem occurred once or more times on your device?

Hi @Versty
Yes, it has. I guess it happened three times so far.
I'm not sure if you can check from my account or not, but you can view the login records for my phone if they are accessible.

@aliafshany Could you collect the debug logs from the moment you have automatically logged out?
If so, please follow the steps below:

  1. Make sure you are logged in with your lifetime license
Also, check on the adguard.com if the device is connected to the license in your personal account

  2. Enable debug logging for the 6th day after logging in:
Settings -> General -> Advanced -> Logging level -> Debug

  3. Wait for the issue to occur, then remember the exact time when it happened

  4. Collect logs:
Settings -> General -> Advanced -> Export logs and system info

  5. Send this file to devteam@adguard.com:

    • mention the 4959 number in the subject
    • specify the exact time when the issue occurred

In addition, after you have been automatically logged out, check your license status at adguard.com again and provide the information in your email (Are the problematic device is still connected to the license or disappeared from the list?).

@Versty,

Sure, but I believe it would take a couple of days to experience this issue again. I'm on it and will share the results with you at that moment.

Make sure you are logged in with your lifetime license
Also, check on the adguard.com if the device is connected to the license in your personal account

@Versty
Oh, it happened just now. It's so strange!

I checked the site, and yes, I'm still logged in there. But the app logged me out. I'm confused.

Here is what I did:
It seemed like everything was working fine, at least it seemed that way. I wanted to exclude an app, so I opened it via the notification bar. It took a few seconds to load, more than the usual time. Then I went to the apps area and noticed that it needed to be activated!

I exported the logs and sent them to the address. This happened on Sep 5th between 23:48 and 23:50. I can't remember the exact time, sorry.

This video is right after exporting the logs.

@Versty Do you want me to install the latest nightly version? Or I can stay at this version so that I can provide you with more data.

@aliafshany Thank you! We have received your logs and are currently examining them.
You can continue to use the release version for now, we have enough information to look for the cause. I will let you know when the fix is available for testing in the nightly version.

Last night, it happened again. It was the first occurrence since this response:(#4959 (comment)).

Update:
It was so annoying that I decided to install the latest nightly version to see if this problem has been solved or not. Unfortunately, the results are the same as the release version. I hope you can investigate soon enough.
