Updates

WarpX + Nyx
- Nicole: Found the source of long exec times!
  - Looked like it was initial ghost filter, but it was earlier, during Blueprint to VTK-m conversion
- Data for fields is zero-copied into conduit with non-native stride, which we can't hand to VTK-m
- Configure options related to type lists may not be a limit for VTK-m 2.0, we may be able to use ints.
- Conversion is pulling of GPU and then back
Expression Infra: Cyrus is undertaking a stocktake of JIT and non-JIT expressions
- Ongoing: Refactoring and renaming to improve understanding
- Convergence on a simpler execution infrastructure for Conduit leaves.
Andres at ANL working over summer on bi-directional use cases
- Trigger infra with sim callbacks and shell commands underway
Collab with Univ of Oregon for interactive Ascent features.
- Cyrus STILL needs to work on proposal

Discussion

VTK-m 2.1RC is around the corner. Ready in under a week.
AMR Wind + Crusher, memory issues were related to which modules and compilers were being used (w/o Ascent in the picture)
