Ark Desktop Wallet is not detecting my Ledger Nano S after I choose Ark app on the Ledger.

Expected Behavior
The Ledger should be detected when I select Ark app on the Ledger.

Current Behavior
Nothing happens. It works on 2.6.0.

Possible Solution

Steps to Reproduce (for bugs)

  1. Open Ark Desktop Wallet
  2. Go to My Wallets
  3. Connect Ledger Nano S and choose the Ark app.

Context

Your Environment

  • Ark Desktop Wallet: 2.6.1
  • Operating System and version: macOS 10.14.6
  • Ledger Ark app: 0.1.2

Do you have something already running using the Ledger, like Ledger Live? Have you tried closing and opening the ARK Wallet? Worst case, have you tried restarting your computer to clear anything else that may be accessing the ledger?

I've tried those. I've even updated the Ledger firmware to 1.4.2, MCU to 1.5 and the Ark app to 0.1.3 but it still doesn't detect it.

With Ark Desktop Wallet 2.6.0 everything is working.

I've noticed yesterday on the develop branch that there is a notable delay until the Ledger is detected and that loading the wallets takes quite a long time.

Interesting. I just tested on the develop branch and Ledger was detected within ~3 seconds. ~6 seconds the second time. But it's definitely loading for me. Some others on the team have also tested and confirmed working.

My Ledger ARK app is 0.1.4, FW 1.5.5, MCU 1.7

Same as @zillionn

Upgraded to 2.6.1 and Ledger no longer detected. Had to downgrade to 2.6.0.

Can confirm it works fine on the develop branch for me, just not 2.6.1. Nano X, latest macOS.

👌 I have also confirmed that it's the build itself. I think this is specific to macOS. I just checked who tested it on the team and the folks that did are all running Windows

Same problem. Latest Ledger firmware. Running first I thought the reason was the macOS Catalina beta. Currently back to Mojave. Ledger still not detected.
