Cloud vs Edge TTS

Azure TTS is cloud service by default. In recent years, edge computing becomes popular. It is desired to have edge TTS running in devices as a fallback when the cloud service is not available.
We offer two edge TTS solutions.

One is container based. The container can be deployed into on premise data center. The runtime and models are running on the customer hardware. Only the usage information is needed to send to cloud for metering. See more here for Azure speech containers

One is on device based TTS engines. It is targeted to be used by in car TTS scenario etc. We can discuss the customization deals for on device TTS engines.
