Welcome to the ICEpick--Direct-drive-pick-and-place-head wiki!

Forward

This head was designed to compliment Anthony Web's Pick and Place linear rail frame assembly. The assembly files here include the frame, but for more information on the frame's development have a look at Athony's Hack-a-day page.

The reason why I created this head was because I didn't want to spend $300 USD on the Robotdigg one, and I was not excited about its spring return for the two Z axis.
