There is a requirement for an anonymous (without authentication and credentials) smtp client for sending notifications. So far, there is just the option to send email notifications via authenticated smtp connections.

…nymous email notifications. This was requested by #21. Additionally, it needs some changes in the "credentials.config" as well. But so far, that file is not part of versioning.

The issue was tested and is part of release v2.11.3.
